Volunteer Work
when I had my mastectomy in 2018, I was living in a van, working at a climbing gym. I received a grant from a non-profit in the mail. I still don’t remember applying for the grant, and I felt so loved and cared-for because complete strangers had stepped in to support me.
As a part of my decision to help other women through their cancer journeys I became more involved in the community through non-profit volunteering and coordinating training grants. I volunteer with the following organizations and want you to check them out if you haven’t already. These non-profit organizations exist to make sure we have education, our voices are heard , and places to belong.
